Hey all. We haven't written forever because...well, there's not much to say. All is good, which makes for boring blogging, I'm afraid.
The biggest news is that Lucy's finally indicated that she's got a career path -- I think she's going to be able to replace the sound effects guy on Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion. She's a little noisemaker...she's mastered the loud kiss, slurping, and, most recently: pretending to poop! It's delightful. We were driving down the road to daycare the other day and (wait, I just realized this story reflects poorly on me) for some reason (really, I can't remember why) I said "poop" and she launched into a 5 minute extravaganza of straining and grunting, checking in every so often to see if I was laughing (oh, believe me, I was).
In fact, she's overall found her sense of humor within the past few weeks. Now she does things that she knows are funny, just to make us laugh. And, as evidenced in the video in the last post, she laughs out loud more than she ever has in the past. So if her sense of humor is decidedly juvenile, so be it -- works best in this family, anyway. I'll try to get her into Woody Allen and Oscar Wilde soon enough; for now -- at least till she's potty trained -- potty humor is good enough.
So that's a relief. Surely there's big money in sound effects, she'll be able to have a comfortable job in the future. Right?

HUGE money. I'm sure you guys will be SET for LIFE on her humor and sound effects. Retire now, you know? :O) god she's cute.
Seriously... what is funnier than poop humor? You should get her a whoopie cushion. Killer fun. :)
So cute. Glad she is making her mommy laugh!
I love bathroom humor myself. Personally if I cannot laugh out loud with some about a "fart", or a good "dump", I cannot be their friend! Lucy you are too funny!
