I think it's official -- no naps on weekends. Remember how happy I was when she finally learned to say "no"...and how some of you warned me I'd be sorry? Umm...yeah. So that sucks.
Also not so great: Matthew and I engaged in our bi-monthly "Opening Of The Mail." Which sounds like a kind of sexy euphemism but is, in fact, not. We literally open the mail about every other month. In this batch:
- A jury summons for me. I was to report on February 2. I'm such an ass. I'd actually love to be on a jury.
- A holiday card from the delightful LawMommy family (yeah, that holiday. Almost 4 months ago. Seriously. Me. Huge jackass. Sorry.)
- An adorable adoption announcement re: the adorable Boo (by the way, I didn't realize you lived in that city -- I travel there sometimes for work! Maybe I can meet Boo someday; that would be great).
- A some tax documents (nope, haven't done that yet. Not surprising, right?).
It's my March resolution: open the friggin' mail at least weekly, if not daily.

Aw, so sorry about the naps - that just doesn't seem fair! And bummer on the "no" too (I don't get that one much yet - and I'm in no hurry!). I'm cracking up about the mail though - I have a pretty lousy system myself but I have to admit you've got me beat!
oh, I'm so sorry about the naps. Naps are the greatest things for children and parents ever. Emmett doesn't really believe in them either - 20 monutes at a time is the most we get from him.
Good times.
funny about the mail - a lot of times it takes 2 months for our mail to get to us from the states :)
Losing naps sucks. We have to trick Zubin into a car ride around that time or no nap.
I'd die if they did not nap. Hanky has started the "no" phase too. Not so great. I feel your pain.
I'm sorry about the naps...that does suck.
Think of it as, um...an early Passover card? (I'm thinking Passover cards are probably inappropriate, though.)
OMG I totally used to do that insanity with the mail! Funny stuff.
As for the naps, Addy outgrew them around the same age, sort of. She still needs them some days but it totally depends on when she wakes up, the activity for the day, etc. She'll always sleep in the car if it's around naptime. So you might still get a few in here and there!
Bi-monthly?! That's hilarious! I'm glad you liked the announcement. We'd love for you to meet Boo if you're in town! Let us know next time you'll be heading our way.
Oh, man, you too? Matty didn't take a nap a single day this week. I'm praying it's because he's sick, but I don't think so.... We need to mourn this loss. Seriously.
I'm the mail police. I'm nuts about the mail. I cannot sleep at night until I have the mail and it's opened. I walked down to the mailbox the other night at midnight to get it. I'm pretty sure someone was trying to kill me (honestly). I won't do that again...I'll just drive next time.

We did not change our mailing address untill recently! So we checked our mail....every two weeks or so. I hate mail- so much junk.
RIP NAPS
It just is not fair.
I don't even like to think about the day when Claire will stop napping. I hope this is just a temporary pause for Lucy!
That's so funny about the mail. I hate how quickly it piles up!
you got that big check I sent, right? :)
Oh, man, it almost killed me when my older two gave up naps. I had to do meditative exercises. On the bright side, I now kind of like it, most days because we don't have to schedule around it.
It is always a sad, sad day when the naps go away. I'm already dreading it. You crack me up about the mail. I'm such a mail freak, I want to go get it as soon as I know it's out there, and then I have to open it immediately (even if it's obviously sucky mail).
